About the Author
Jamie Caldwell was born in San Diego, California, the second oldest of five girls (Jennifer, Jaylene, Ashley, and Allison), to Joyce Green and Jay Anderson. From the time that Mrs. Caldwell could put pencil to paper and form legible words, she was creating fictional stories. In the third grade, she wrote her first thriller about a “possessed” baby doll, which impressed the teacher so much that she asked Mrs. Caldwell to read it in front of the class. Seeing the looks on her fellow students’ faces, and marveling at their undivided attention, she was forever hooked on writing stories for the purpose of entertaining others.
“Veiled in Human Flesh” is her first published work. She began writing the novel in 2001. It went through several transformations before Mrs. Caldwell felt that it was complete and ready to be shown to the world. Book II is going through final revisions and editing at this time and should be completed soon.
